Today the Basel software house Canoo AG is launching the first minor release of their flagship product RIA Suite. The release provides numerous optimizations as well as new functionality. New animation and graphical effects enable the creation of applications with a more dynamic and contemporary look and feel.

Basel, October 1st, 2010 – In Spring 2010, the Basel-based company Canoo AG launched the new RIA Suite, which enables companies and software producers to develop capable, interactive and highly efficient Rich Internet Applications (RIA). The suite comprises a set of independently selectable modules, with the module ULC Core as its foundation. The RIA Suite offers adapted solutions for business applications according to the necessities of each company. The Suite’s Maintenance Release is available today. It includes numerous optimizations, even faster data-transfer as well as several extensions in the area of animation. Furthermore, built-in effects such as circular color gradients for background components make the creation of compelling, contemporary designs even easier than before.
